Mark Malkoff's Netflix Challenge

Since you pay for Netflix by the month, how low can you bring the price-per-movie down by watching as many as you can? Mark Malkoff tried to find out, by devoting a month to the experiment. I don't see how he did it, because I couldn't find anywhere near that many movies I'd care to watch. There's a list of the films he saw at My Damn Channel. (Thanks, Mark!)

i'm on the 3 disc plan, so i try to watch all 3 and send them back on a weekly basis, for a total of roughly 12 films a month.

the catch is, if it's a film my wife wants to see, it's often held for several days at our house, because she doesn't have the same motivation to turn around the discs that i do. oh well.

i am now more prone to wait for a movie to get to netflix than to runout to watch it in the theaters...because to be honest very few movies are worth the high price tags theater owners are charging these days.
