Unfortunately, this seems to be the opinion of many, many Americans, regardless of how late America was in entering the war. However, the peoples of Britain, France, USSR, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Greece, India, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Yugoslavia and others, would like to thank you for your contribution.

I dunno, you might have the same patriotic reaction from any country on the winning side if this class were somewhere else.
What struck me as "funny" about this was that these kids didn't know (or really care) who won World War II until prompted, despite studying it.
